Drivers must meet all of the criteria outlined below. There are also volunteer and sponsorship opportunities available on the form.\nDriver Criteria for Eligibility Requirements:Drivers desiring to compete in the 2026 GNEMA Driver Competition must meet certain minimum requirements:Driver must possess a valid commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement at the time of application and event.Driver must have a current medical certificate at the time of application and event.The driver's license may not have been suspended for any reason in the past 24 months.GNEMA Operator Member (sponsor) must actively employ the driver at the time of application.Actively driving a bus and/or motorcoach as their primary occupation during the period under consideration.No out-of-service (OOS) violations within the past 24 months\; i.e.\, Hour of Service (HOS) violations.Bus and/or motorcoach drivers must have driven at least two years accident free (preventable).There will be eight (8) scored events and drivers will complete an on-board evaluation and a written test.
